An exhibition "New view of Venus by AKATSUKI" at 3M Sendai City Museum
An exhibition entitled "New view of Venus by AKATSUKI" is held at 3M Sendai City Museum from Feb 24, 2018 until Mar 31, 2018 Apr 8, 2018.
In this exhibition, the latest observational results and a full-scale cardboard model of AKATSUKI are opened to the public. On Feb 24, the full-scale model was assembled by the members of the science club "FYL" at Gunma Kokusai Academy, who made the full-scale model, and students from local junior high schools. On the same day, Prof. Masato Nakamura, the project manager of AKATSUKI, gave a talk about the success of the Venus Orbit Insertion after the failer of the first trial, and explained the latest scientific results obtained by AKATSUKI.
The exhibition is held until Mar 31, 2018. ⇒ Extended to Apr 8, 2018.
