5th Akatsuki Science Working Team MeetingApr 7, 2017

The Akatsuki Science Working Team Meeting was held on April 4-5, 2017 at the JAXA Sagamihara Campus. The Akatsuki Science Working Team Meeting is held every few months; this is the fifth meeting since the spacecraft succeeded in entering an orbit around Venus.

Through its last meeting, most of the presentations are on the status of the scientific instruments in the meetings. Starting this time, we have focused on obtaining more scientific results and almost the entire available time was devoted for the presentations of research topics on offer. As a result, over 40 topics of research have been presented, with active exchanges of ideas from researchers, including those overseas.
